Nic HolubikSOBER COACH & HOUSE MANAGER
Nic has been in the chemical dependency field since 2004 when he started as the Director of Marketing & Development for a small non-profit halfway house in Minneapolis, MN. Fueled by his own personal experience with addiction, Nic has been tirelessly working with men in early recovery throughout the years and is a true asset to Riverhouse and the 12-step community.

Riverhouse utilizes a senior member of that AA or NA community to oversee the house instead of a peer picked house manager. We believe we have picked a WINNER! He has been the manager since August of 2012 and has brought Riverhouse to what it is today by staying dedicated to the guys day-in and day-out for years.

Q&A with Nic

I do identify as a GRATEFUL recovering person in long term recovery. I have been without a mind altering chemical (as long as coffee and energy drinks don’t count) since July 1st, 1998.

I was in Minneapolis, MN at the time and I went to a small adolescent facility in a hospital for primary treatment (28 days) and then spent 90 days in an adolescent halfway house.
That answer would require a much longer conversation not suited for a short Q&A. Feel free to ask me face to face anytime.

“I feel as though I have A LOT to offer these guys.

“My goal is to not only show these guys what works and what doesn’t work, but also how the addiction tricks them into thinking these bad decisions are good ones.”
