Below is a short list of admission requirements for the Riverhouse. Meeting these requirements doesn’t automatically guarantee that you are appropriate for our sober living environment but it does guarantee that you will be considered.
Sober Housing Admission Criteria:
- You should have completed some form of treatment. (Outpatient, inpatient or some type of hospitalized detox)
- You SHOULD have a strong desire to stay sober. There are other places better suited for you if you currently do not have a desire to stay clean.
- You cannot enter Riverhouse while currently taking prescribed narcotic medications. If this applies to you and you do not wish to stop, Riverhouse is not the appropriate sober living home for you.
Admission to RIVERHOUSE Sober Living home is simple:
- Download, print and complete the “New Resident Screening Packet” from the link below.
- Call the House to see if there is a vacancy and setup an interview.
- The sober living house manager will interview with you to gather demographics as well as your history and what your plans are for the future.

- Arrange for payment of sober deposit, first month’s rent as well as the one time administration fee.
